Kwik Card Privacy Statement

Keeping customer information secure is a top priority for all of us at Kwik Trip™, Inc. We want you to understand what information we collect, how we share it, and the steps we take to protect customer information.

Information We Collect – We collect non-public information about you and other applicants to help identify you, evaluate your application and to service your account. We collect this information from a couple of sources, including the following:

*Information provided by you on Kwik Card applications, which includes identifying information such as address, telephone number, e-mail address, social security number, date of birth, nearest relative and employment information.

*Information obtained through your transactions, such as items purchased, payments, payment method, and information provided on customer service and collection calls.

*Information provided by credit bureaus and similar companies, such as your account and payment history with other lenders.

*Information provided by other third parties, such as demographic firms, in connection with marketing programs.

Information We Share With Others - First and foremost, we do not sell lists of our customers, nor do we disclose customer information to marketing companies. However, if you choose to donate your Kwik Rewards rebate to a charity/organization, we may disclose non-public personal information to that charity/organization, including your name and amount of donation. We may also disclose non-public personal information to non-affiliated third parties as permitted by law. These non-affiliated third parties may include credit bureaus or similar reporting agencies or others who ask for credit references in accordance with customary business practices. Information we share with them includes credit limit, balances, and payment information.

Your Opt-Out Right – If you prefer that we not disclose non-public personal information about you to charities/organizations, as described above, you can direct us not to share that information (that is, opt-out of the sharing) by calling us at the following toll-free number, 1-800-305-6666. Please provide your account number with any request to opt-out of information sharing. If you have a joint account, an opt-out by one participant on the account will apply to all participants on this account.

An opt-out will not apply to the disclosure of non-public personal information to non-affiliated third parties as permitted by law.

Our Security Procedures – The security of customer information is very important to us and we limit access to personal and account information to those employees who assist us in providing services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your non-public personal information.

Your Access to Information – We provide you access to information about your account in a couple ways. For example, we send you monthly billing statements outlining your transactions, finance charges, and other account information. You may also call our customer service telephone number if you have additional questions about your account. For instructions on how to dispute billing information, please see your Kwik Card Agreement or the reverse side of your billing statement.

How This Statement Applies to You – The examples contained in this Privacy Statement are illustrations only and are not intended to be all-inclusive. If you decide to close your account or become an inactive customer, or if we close or suspend your account, we will continue to adhere to the privacy policies and practices described in this notice. We may amend this Privacy Statement at any time, and we will inform you of changes as required by law. You may have other privacy protections under state laws and we will comply with applicable state laws when we disclose information about you.
